Blog Choroidal Metastasis
41 year old male patient presented to our clinic with complaints of dimunition of vision in both eyes since past 1 week.He is known case of carcinoma lung diagnosed 2 months back and is on treatment
On examination his best corrected visual acuity was 6/18p in right eye and 6/36p in left eye. Anterior segment examination was normal. Fundus examination showed bilateral optic disc edema , multiple Choroidal lesions with rpe mottling along the vascular arcades with inferior exudative retinal detachment in both eyes suggestive of Choroidal metastasis secondary to lung carcinoma. Left eye also showed epiretinal membrane at the macula. Patient was advised to undergo PETCT and to review with ocular oncologist for further management.
